Updated: Aug 24, 2021

Troy Langsdale, CEO announces "The Parlor" December, 2020

In late 2019 the world was hit with one of the most traumatic events of the modern civilization. The COVID-19 pandemic created a lasting recognition of the impact a viral outbreak can have on the world.

Due to the need to protect the world’s most vulnerable population, legislative action restricted external visitation to patients in our skilled nursing facilities. The void of not being able to see and interact with their loved ones created traumatic experience for our patients. In order to DELIVER a safe and protected environment to our patients and their guest, we created “The Parlor”.

The Parlor is transforming the post-acute world by allowing our patients to maintain their social and mental stimulations of seeing their families and friends during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

We are proud to be able to offer this service to our patients for this generations and generations that follow.

With our patients as the center of care and innovation, we designed “The Parlor”, a term meant as a place to gather, converse and meet with friends.

A state of the art negative pressure visitation area with independent access, including visible safe separation with floor to ceiling tempered glass protecting both, the patient and guest, while visiting in a more comfortable and climate controlled environment.

The Parlor is equipped with hospital grade ceiling ultraviolet light (uvc) for disinfection and sterilization between visits, hands free communication and latest technology, all in a beautiful serene space.
